Dr Amarendra Sahoo, has been a veteran central banker and sound academic with over three decades experience in public policy in India and abroad. He was Chief General Manager and Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Dean, Academics, IMT Ghaziabad, Secretary General Apparel Export Promotion Council, World Bank Consultant at Washington D.C.

During his association with the RBI, Dr. Sahoo held many administrative and policy framing posts. He is a leading expert on bank regulation and supervision having interacted with the monetary authorities of Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea. He was involved with the team negotiating on Financial Services in the India-Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA), a member of World Bank's Supervision Mission on Financial Sector Development Project. As the head of RBI in North East, Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand, he was responsible for designing, appraising and monitoring micro-credit, Small & Medium Enterprises, in co-ordination with governments, banks, Self Help Groups and NGOs.

Dr. Sahoo holds a Ph. D. in Economics from IIT, Bombay for his work on Financial Market and Structure of Interest rates, Masters from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University, USA (as RBIGoldenJubilee Scholar). His masters project in Duke was Corporate Governance in banking sector. He participated in the leadership and corporate excellence programme at Kellogg School of Management. He has a number of publications to his credit on areas, such as, economics, corporate finance, banking, agriculture credit, etc.

Dr. Pathak has published 197 + Research Papers and is the author of 13 Books.

Brig. (Dr.) R. C. Pathak, former Director ITM, Mussoorie, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Ex-Principal,Imperial College of Engineering & Research, (ICOER), is a name to reckon with in the field of technical education. Presently, he is the Director and Professor Emeritus of JSPM's Group of Institutes, Pune. A hard-core teacher, he believes that the development of techno-entrepreneurial society is the key to achieve vision 2020 envisioned by Dr. APJ Kalam. Dr. Pathak believes in teamwork and under his dynamic leadership a cohesive team of teachers has been developed.

This knowledgeable scholar, apart from his PhD in Engineering (Geotechnical, Civil Engg.)& M.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, has accomplished his second PhD in Management also from Indraprastha University, Delhi. He has also specialized in Technology Management & Human Resource Management. A prolific writer, Dr. Pathak, has penned down and edited six books on Technology & Management. He has published over 155 technical papers in national as well as international journals/conferences. Besides this, he is a recognized PhD guide for the University of Pune, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV), JNU and Indraprashtha University, Delhi. This quintessential researcher has held many honoured positions in the Institutions like International Institute of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Education & Business Management (IIEBM), Moze College, AIMS, Hinzewadi, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune, Council Member of University of Pune (UoP) etc. Prof. Pathak has also done specialization in Cold Region Engineering and has taken part in IX Indian Antarctic Expedition during 1989-90. During this period he took part in the construction of Indian Antarctic Station, Maitri and logistics management of the station.

He has also served in DRDOand Indian Armed Forces and , has extensively worked in Indian Himalayas, especially Siachen Glacier and Snow & Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE). He has specialised in glaciology and snow mechanics. Brig.(Dr) Pathak has been teaching many years at the institutional shop floor the subjects like foundation engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction management and higher plethora of dynamic leadership. He has widely travelled to White Mountains and CRREL, New Hampshire (US), Scotland, British Antartic Survey (BAS), Cambridge, SPRI, SCAR (UK) and Davos, Switzerland etc. wherefrom he has done a comparative study of glaciers, snow and avalanche forecasting etc. He is one of name to reckon with as a lead national geomorphologist. He is a life and fellow member of many institutes, some of them are : the Institution of Engineers, Indian Institution of Geomorphology, Indian Geotechnical Society, Indian Military Engineers, ISTE, Antarctic Club of India (ANCOI) etc. He is an adjunct faculty to many Management as well as Engineering colleges in the countries like USA, UK, Bangkok, Singapore etc. He has received appreciation award for development of “Special Integrated Shelter” from DRDO. Also received Best Paper Award from Institution of Engineers for Cold Region Engineering and received commendation citation for training in management from DRDO. In 2008 he has been awarded Best Principal/Teacher Award as Shiksha Bharati Puraskar from All India Achievers Foudations, New Delhi. This vibrant and motivational professional is ideally an exemplary figure worth emulating.

Brig. (Dr.) R.C. Pathak also received Life Time Achievement Award last Year(2018) from UN International Teachers Day.
